The newly established MAPO MIC:
- pools the production, intellectual, financial
and marketing resources of the country's defense enterprises into a single
state-owned company to resolve the general tasks of developing, manufacturing
and promoting on the international market advanced domestic aircraft and
weapons systems;
- is a natural sequel to consolidation
of all domestic aircraft manufacturers;
- complies with current world market tendencies
towards the creation of larger aircraft and weapons systems manufacturers;
- meets the requirements of present-day
state policy directed at preserving and consolidating the national defense
potential and cooperation with other countries in the military and technical
spheres.
MAPO MIC incorporates 12 industrial enterprises
and one commercial bank in a single company.
